I am Jared Warden. Life has thrown me some lemons—some bitter, some sour, and some downright rotten. I’ve faced severe workplace bullying and was on the precipice of suicide and drug relapse. But guess what? Instead of making a sour face, I started making lemonade.

Through life’s bitter tang, I’ve discovered my zest for a higher purpose. Despite seven failed campaigns, I’m determined to raise $8 million from one million $8 contributions. Why? To create a hive of activity, a buzzing workplace where disabilities aren’t barriers but bridges to unique skills and solutions.

Our hive will be a sanctuary, a sweet spot for those handed life’s lemons. We’ll have seven sectors humming with activity—a film studio, a gardening research space, a commercial kitchen, a health and exercise unit, an app development hub, a science research and development workshop, and a product invention and production trials center.

We won’t just be busy bees. We’ll be the queen bees of problem-solving, partnering with companies that are the bee’s knees in health, safety, and environmental standards. We’ll create a buzz, linking others to them and strengthening those making a positive impact.

Now, let’s address the elephant in the hive. The world is in turmoil, but crying over spilled lemonade won’t help. Instead, our hive will stick things back together. We’ll delve into social and community research, addressing the root causes of crime and sickness, and use this knowledge to pollinate change, fostering improved culture and character development.
